Busy comeback for houses and buildings classified F and G at the level of the diagnosis of energy performance (DPE). As of September 1, 2022, they will have to pass a new exam with the energy audit.
Energy renovation program
This new control, which is part of the real estate sales process, results in work proposals. They are based on two scenarios to be carried out in several stages for homes classified F and G. The first, unless there are particular constraints, must gain at least one class and reach at least class E. The second stage aims to achieve level C.
This audit includes :
- a general inventory of the property (thermal and geometrical characteristics, indications on the heating, hot water production, ventilation, lighting equipment...);
- an estimate of the building's performance, based on the DPE;
- proposals for work to achieve the improvement.
Great gains at stake
This new energy audit is accompanied by various estimates to assess the effectiveness of the renovation. This concerns the potential energy savings, the theoretical impact of the proposed work on the energy bill, the cost of the operation, the main financial aid available (national and local).
